How should I prepare for the treatment?​

Avoid sun exposure for about a week prior to treatment

Avoid exfoliating products, such as, scrubs, AHA + BHA (serums, moisturizers and masks) and retinol approximately 3 days before scheduled appointment

Stop usage of topical acne medication two weeks prior to treatment

Drinks lots of water to aid in the skin’s hydration (will help with the extraction process)

Keep skin nourished and hydrated

Avoid irritating products that disrupt the skin’s barrier function

Not recommended for those who are claustrophobic or pregnant.

What should I expect during the treatment?
This treatment starts out with a deep cleanse of this skin followed by warming enzyme peel that is gommaged off the skin. DMK’s signature Oxygen Enzyme Therapy treatment is then applied to the decollete neck and face where it sets on the skin for 45 minutes to work its magic. During this part of the treatment we send you into a relaxed state with a scalp massage followed by an arm and hand massage with an added warming hand treatment.

Is this treatment a facial?
This treatment does not include extractions or steam and cannot be added into this service. This is a very stimulating treatment and due to the increased blood flow extractions are not advised. We often recommend doing a Signature or Hydrafacial to clean the skin before/after this treatment.

What should I expect after treatment?
Directly after treatment you will see the effects of the “plasmatic effect”, the dilation of the capillaries. This fades approximately 30 minutes after treatment. In the days following, the skin will appear brighter, more even, toned and will have a youthful healthy glow.

How do I maximize the benefits of my treatment?
For best results it is recommended to space out your first two treatments 2 weeks apart and then once a month for maintenance. At home care is essential for protecting and maintaining your results. For that reason, you will be sent home with a curated home regimen with included products to help you achieve your skin care goals. A series of at least 3 treatments is recommended for long-term results.
